not sure whats archaic here? fagioli was a gambling addict owing money to mafia. thats a huge no no just for simply being likely to throw matches to outside influence.
people get fired and banned from jobs in other fields for same reasons. fagioli lucky he was just given a ban and not terminated
Maybe, but I don't remember Capello misplacing players the way Motta did. Capello's point is that Tudor didn't do something revolutionary, but he only used common sense. He plays Yildiz as a playmaker and gave McKennie a running up and down role, while Motta did the opposite.
And Cannavaro, and Zambrotta, and Camoranesi, and Thuram, and Nedved, and Chiellini, and Kovac... the list goes on and on. And then we crash out to Liverpool by playing the worst football ever.

But Mckennie was never really a wingback, nor is Kily Gonzalez. Kelly isn't even a footballer. I like Tudor but lets not get ahead of ourselves either.
I just mean we tried to whore him all summer for two years now and in the end he is in front of all our signings when it comes to choosing the starting eleven. Say a lot about the work Giuntoli has done here.
