Not his fault really, but we've seen similar performances at LB from Kostic too last year. We badly need to find a solution for that position. Not some Cabals or RBs, wingers or midfielders. Find a real quality LB.
He's partly at fault, as are Gatti, Kalulu, Di Gregorio and Conceicao.

A proper LB would recognise that 3 Fiorentina players are ahead of him to get the cross. He isn't a LB though and that's on Motta. He's playing like a midfielder at fullback.

LMAO at once again IMO another predominately biased opinion about Weston's play from this poster. What I saw was #16 doing what he was supposed to do in marking #25. Without question indeed Weston should have been marking all 3 players. If a 4th was there, him too.

Juve #15 misjudges jump and let's #20 score the goal. #4 was covering a space with no opposing player in sight. Why? Juve #51 clearly sees 3 on 2 and just casually jogging back. Why?

Our great defending mid #5 is playing around on the right side when needs to be in a more central/defending position. Why? Superb match from #19 though went to deep right side with #5 already there and left middle area in front of goal empty. Why?

And for me Di G having no anticipation of play with not coming out a few feet for easy bat away or catch of ball would have solved the entire issue.. Why?

Maybe watch again and please breakdown adding to 100% wise, all the %s for the Juve players at fault you mentioned along with Weston's % of "partly at fault?" From watching again a few times highlight video, he definitely deserves at least 1% of fault for being on the pitch.

I love this forum! :dule:

Year 2020, the year we bought Mckenny. The rest is history. 9 titles in a row before him and since his arrival 0. Coincidence? I dont believe in it. The day he leaves will be the day we become serious club again. But what a nice guy he is... We need assholes like Mandzukic, Licht, real sonofbitches that other sides will hate. Nice guys get tap on a shoulder, assholes win you titles.

Through truth be told, Juve were wusses until Stevie "T-Rex Arms" Lichtsteiner came and made us fearsome again for 9 straight titles.
But the other garbage signings weren’t the correlation to the scudetto drought is what I gather. It’s directly correlated to Weston.

Now let’s talk about what else the European mind cannot comprehend

I think the more telling thing today is that McKennie is one of our marquee players. Which says a little less about him and more about the team around him.

extend

no, really. just extend on realistic wages. in tthe next few years we won't realistically have a midfield that would bench mckennie for a whole season. that's a shame that it's our level but at least he's giving his all
