physical condition makes you a starter - the sad state of our club

meh game by snacks though. offered next to nothing in attack against an open team, lost the majority of his duels, didn't contribute to defense too much. but yeah, he ran a lot, i give him that. he can play much better than this.
He can play better for sure, but he wasn't that bad. We offered nothing in attack until Roma melted down.

@Bjerknes

Covers less ground than Locatelli, scores less, assists less, tackles less. Useless. Lol

McPotter also has the worst pass completion percentage in the entire team. 75% has him in 25th place. So bad
Locatelli is a really good player. Mckennie needs to improve in some areas of the game. I've been saying this consistently throughout the last several months.

But today Mckennie was pretty good.

PI, what MF have been scoring for Juve? Only saw the first half but thought he made some good forward passes. And I agree with him playing towards goal a lot he does need to score more. I think he has the ability to do so. Can't keep missing those ducks like the one against Napoli.
Locatelli has more goals than him, while playing mostly very deep. We all thought Mckennie would score ~10 goals this season. He certainly is in the box enough to, but he isn’t finishing chances and rarely gets on the end of balls when he does make his runs, and he isn’t doing much else that you’d expect of a midfielder. His best attribute outside the runs he makes for goals is his running, and that it can be disruptive to the other team’s possession at times. He gets the occasional interception because of that, averages around 1/game. However, he’s an awful tackler, doesn’t try often and has bad technique when he does, so it’s not like he’s done impressive ball winner… and he is the worst passer in the team with an anemic 75% completion. He needs to improve a lot, or we should definitely consider using him to raise funds in the summer.

Mixed game for me. His combinations with Kulu in the first half were soul destroying. But he did some nice plays too.

I don't think he's had particularly good games today or vs Napoli but played his part in a few goals e.g. Loca's he gets himself into the box, which frees Loca to score and against Napoli we aren't scoring that equaliser if he doesn't make the run off the ball to get the long ball. These things don't get credit but are so important and I think shows his improvement in understanding of tactics this season, which is good to see. Hopefully he can improve his passing and keeping possession which let him down at times.

I’d like to see pass completion % there as well. It would be nice to get an idea of types of passes, long balls, percentage of forward passes. Because Pirlo and to a lesser extent Marchisio and Locatelli all play quite a few long passes, and those three were also always playing the ball forward. Arthur is queen of the sideways and backwards 5 meter pass lol

Well he forced Smaldini to have to defend and Smaldini failed so I give Wes 0.5 assists.
So we making up imaginary assists now? His pass was to Smalling. Not to MdS. It was an inaccurate pass that thankfully Smalling completely botched clearing allowing MdS to score. Assist lol :howler:

That's the beauty of Wes. Like his "pre-assist" the game before to Morata. Just run and hit the ball somewhere.

Here, but it won't prove much. Bentancur certainly isn't a better passer than Pirlo. He just makes less complicated passes. McKennie's percentage though is really humiliating.

1. Arthur 89.2%
2. Bentancur 87.1
3. Vidal 87
4. Pirlo 86.9
5. Pjanic 86.7
6. Marchisio 86.1
7. Locatelli 86.1
8. Pogba 83.4
9. Rabiot 83.3
10. McKennie 75.3

His passing is easily his biggest weakness, can be shocking at times. But generally I don't mind him.
