That said, he is still lacks so much quality that a midfielder needs. Too many times he misplaced passes in the build up phase when Inter was pressuring us leading to really dangerous situations and losing control of the match. When Arthur gives you rest and a foothold in a difficult moment by always finding a teammate with a pass, McKennie does the opposite and puts you on the back foot.

He does great on the run, great stamina, attacks the box well, has good vision, but cannot play in the center imo. Its why Pirlo was playing him more attacking and Allegri plays him wide.
