If we're talking about Tici, we should force him into taking one of our turds. Give him Ramsey or Arthur, even both... That is as long as Allegri rates Ndombele at this point.

McKennie for Ndomble makes no sense to me, that would be another book boosting deal. We always lose when doing these type of deals.

Everyone is good at Lyon. Ndombele hasn’t been good at Spurs. Injured, rumors about lack of motivation and unwillingness to work. Benched by Harry Winks. The list goes on. He’s been at Spurs as long as he was at Lyon. Was their big signing so I’d imagine his wages are somewhat high. Honestly could be a case of growing pains and needing new surroundings but you’d really need to be absolutely sure of that risk.

Granted, Big Mac suits Spurs midfield more than he does Juves. But I wouldn’t take anything from Tootsie that isn’t cold hard cash at this point, especially when that Kane money is just around the corner.

McKennie is way more desirable of an asset than Ndombele.

I find it funny how people say there’s hope Ndombele will stop getting injured (magically somehow) and or Berna and the rest of our dogshit midfield will get better under Allegri. Somehow the chances of McKennie keeping up his production and getting better under Allegri are lower than the aforementioned happening.

Chances are higher that McKennie develops into a better player than Ndombele working out or Rabiot and Berna becoming useful.

Ndombele only missed 2 games through injury last year and scored 7 goals.

I'm not hugely in favour of signing him and don't really believe the story anyway. But the narrative that people seem to keep repeating that he is crocked and can't score goals is false.

Yeah, just what this forum wants. Another always injured, unmotivated player on high wages. Just to get rid of the American.

you’re right, looks like a lot of times he just didn’t get called up or played so it’s hard to tell exactly what the reason was.

Either way, he’s a flop, just wishful thinking that he’ll turn it around here

Yeah, I’m not a big fan of Ndombele, post-Lyon. Seems to be a bit of mental midget player. But people making stuff up to overrate the wand waver again lol

While I don’t disagree that Ndombele is a flop at Spurs, he is 24. Mckennie is 23 in a week. Mckennie had a couple very good months mid-season and then sucked hard after February. Is he a flop too? Or we gonna blame Pirlo? Should we blame crazy, washed up Mou for Ndombele? Curious what the standard is…

at least the wand waver has earned the overrating by going into a Juve team with a new coach and outperforming every other midfielder.

It’s ridiculous that people are even comparing them
Outperforming? For a third of the season? He needs to do it for more than a couple months before being anointed as some top level CM. Lol

I’m sure y’all will blame Allegri if Mckennie gets benched for our other mids. Bjerknes has already started calling out Allegri for nepotism and bias against Mckennie and the season hasn’t even started yet

Yeah exactly he had a good spell for a couple of months but the moment juve signed him as a official player he turned to shit and couldnt even controll a ball.

:agree:

Was our worst mid, by a substantial margin post-February. And that speaks volumes, given the competition. I still think he has good potential, and raw talent, but he’s nowhere near a finished product yet, or the level a Juventus starting CM should be at. He may get there, I hope he does. But this “best CM” stuff is cute.
