Okay i can see players in his case money wise losing out on like 500K to say no to going to a team, but if correct 2M or whatever less a total failure on his advisor's part. Money most always is the determining factor whatever the player tells you.

So in my comparison conclusion with regards to negotiation ability getting the best contract for your client.

Disclaimer: Am I correct in stating we don't know what contract yet the Magical Mom agent has gotten her son? TBD?

Yes Rabiot is presently but do you really believe he will have to accept such a low salary amount as Wes? If he does than will have to lower the 9 ranking for mom. :baus:
If Rabiot's salary demands were 4m he'd be with us now. McKennie signs a bitch renewal at the same wage (maybe a little higher, depending on the guru you pray to at night).

I don't see how this isn't a complete failure for Wes and his team.

He rejected a better paying offer from an EPL club playing in the CL this year (and almost fucked that transfer up for us). Now he's renewed on the same wage with a 1 year deal. There's a lot of risk in that for him and his team.

Maybe not complete but damn Wes wanted lot more money than he got. How often you see such a wage difference as what he wanted and what he got? And sad for him he just had to accept the transfer to get the money. Though i could see maybe his thinking was AV really didn't want me, just a bargaining chip to unload Luiz.

And for sure it's not a failure for the team. I hope he does well for us. Though I don't believe my post mentioned failure for the team?

People here looking at it as a Weston loss and juve win

Buts it’s actually a Weston win. Remember back in march the club offered him a renewal at a lower salary.

So he actually gets the last laugh here

All this guy wanted was a little recognition for being our best playmaker last year. I'm glad we smartened up and gave it to him.
He went from being offered a renewal at a lower salary in feb/march to now renewing at same or higher salary

Shows that fino all fine pays off for Weston and guintoli can’t sell
