The American jokes are gonna look more and more silly as this guy keeps adapting more and more.
There was a time when a player's nationality mattered, the top 4 European and top 3 South Americans and the rest were considered "the rest" but it doesn't really mean shit in modern Football. You can find top talent in Egypt, Gana or wherever you look nowadays.
It was only a matter of time until the Americans who in fact EXCEL at every sport they're in do the same in Football. Pulisic has been a fantastic player for quite a few seasons now and this kid shows promise. Pure grinta.
Agree.. Hell, there even was an Indonesian in goal today.. We have seen great players from countries like Australia, Japan, so why not USA.. i just hope he continues to improve and stays humble and stays injury free..

Audero is Italian in football terms, it's not like he learned football in Indonesia and came up through the youth system of Persib Bandung.
Most of the American jokes are tongue-in-cheek as well. Football is a global game and has been for years. Still, I think Americans would admit that they are disappointed by the number of quality players they have produced in the past 20 years or so.
I had the good feeling he was going to do good, but he surpassed my expectations.
His ball control is the one of a proffesional (not like you know who) and his physical presence in the mid and the way he fought it out was remarkable (not like the other you know who).
Hopefully. I don't think we're dumb enough to even consider selling after his performance tonight. The dude could've had 3,4 assists if it weren't for Ronaldo's farting mode.
Pirlo wasn't impressed. The only Juve player who Pirlo mentioned in his post-match interview:
“The American arrived having started pre-season training in Germany, so was in better shape than some others. He made a few errors in his passing, but it was the first game, we can forgive him for that."

He played well, no need to sub him out. And, as Pirlo said, he had normal pre-season training, unlike the others, so he's in much better shape right now.
