at meeting, Gala dropped from 20m to 10m. Beppe offers 5m. - SportMediaset.

Hopefully they don't find agreement. If Sneijder and Rolando are supposed to be 'improvements' let's pass and go ahead with what we've got. Wasting money in January is pointless we'll be better off using it during the summer.

7m Euros. Meh barely £5,000,000. Not exactly a bargain but we'd happily drop double that amount on some young Italian who will never ever be good enough to be our sub in a pre-season game.
Watch that fee and wages being difference between someone decent and shitty in the summer - it's pretty much a pattern now.

In today's world our salaries are nothing, If we want to be among the best in Europe we have to offer bigger salaries, but not to Sneijder, only if he accepts 18 months contract with option to extend 2 more years in case she shows his Inter form.

and it''s on players who arent earning their salaries either.

pirlo, llorente, barzagli are done but still have years left on their contract.

    Sneijder agrees Juventus terms?

Reports in Turkey claim Wesley Sneijder has agreed terms with Juventus, and told Galatasaray he wants to leave.

The former Inter man has been the source of much speculation in recent weeks, and is believed to be close to securing a return to Serie A with the Bianconeri.

It was reported today that Gala and Juve are now much closer to agreeing a transfer fee for the 30-year-old, and now Turkish media claim that the player has agreed personal terms, despite the Istanbul club saying he is not for sale.

According to Milliyet, the Dutch international has verbally agreed terms on a contract worth €4.5m per year.

The newspaper reports that Sneijder informed the Galatasaray hierarchy in the aftermath of Sunday’s 2-0 win over Besiktas that he wants to be allowed to move to Turin, with further talks scheduled for tomorrow.
No,no 4.5 was for 18 months. There is no way that he will get that sum here per year.

i can't see why ppl are mad about this deal. if he wont play well he wont play at all, so the team will not downgrade. and when he will reach his form he will play and that is good, because we will have more options and versatility in case of injuries, opponents etc. Should we cry for spending 5m? no, because we spent massive money for likes of pereyra, matri and jorge martinez, so 5m for holland international is fine by me, and 30 is not like 35.

So we're signing Sneijder and not Shaqiri? What a surprise...

Although I still think Sneijder will fit this team like a glove. Too bad he's 30, but he can still offer a couple more productive years.
