How do you mean?
What we have now is current season stats which will need updating...

But historical stats of the overall history of Juventus such as a full roster of every player that ever played for Juve with number of matches and goals, a comprehensive summary of matches throughout history against Milan, Inter, Roma...etc. You know, its not an easy task but the info is out there and I would love to start such project.

I hope this won't be the norm now because it doesn't make any sense and it's too much work for the mods. We should be able to change our avatars and titles.

No, It's just a glitch in the system as far as the avatars are concerned.

About the title, however, we'll see if Marty will allow users to edit them themselves.

I understood that, but how would we colect the information and what information would be included?
This is for us to decide, we could have a team consisting of 5 or 6 members willing to take such a project. And then decide what to include and what not to. Hell we could also take some feedback from the posters, what they like to see. Then create a system of what is an acceptable stat (i.e Boniperti scored 179 or 182) and what is not.....its a full fledge project. And I think we should start doing it.

The avatar thing is a bug - none of us can change them right now. The titles thing I've explained before - the hassle of getting a mod to change it will preserve the original titles, which make a lot more sense than some random crap like would be put there otherwise (look at people's sigs/locations).

You'd need a lot of people and a lot of time.

I personaly, for example, just cant find the time neccessary to do it.

You can change it through the mods options, like I did mine.

Better than the boobs or not?

I thought of the idea earlier that we should make a match central page with all the results listed in order with goal scorers, attendance, cards, lineups, and everything in between. We would also have specific match reports and perhaps even rankings if wanted to.

Also, the posters who always watch the matches could set up a "Juventuz Ratings" system in which a few posters rate each player and the average is taken, very much like to Gazzetta's ratings for each match. Then at the end of the year have a Juventuz award for the player who had the best average ranking throughout the year.

I thought its a grand idea.

A 1000 mile journey starts with a footstep. But true we need lots of people, 5 or 6 was underestimating I say we need around 12.

2 for 20s, 30s and 40s
2 for 50s and 60s
2 for 70s
2 for 80s
and 2 for the 90s

The past 5 years is not big deal anybody could do it.

It is. IMO the ratings idea is not hard to implement, the other stuff probably isnt too.

We should talk to Keith about this.

However, we should pick the proper posters for this, not just anyone. Should probably chose like 5-10 of them, so if one or several of them dont get to see the match there are still enough members to create a quorum, not just one member.

Exactly. The posters who are always able to watch the matches...such as Vinni, swag, Jeeks, denco, myself, and others...would be the people to ask. It's fairly obvious who watches the matches and who doesn't...just look at who gives their match reports week in and week out.

We could easily set up some sort of ranking system, and giving the aforentioned info for each match would be quite easy. A page such as this would be helpful as I would not have to travel to soccer365.com just to see a column of our match results...it could also draw more viewers to this website.

We definately need to ask Keith.

Sure, but it's not just about selecting people who get to see every match but also people that are regulars and that are objective.

IMO Vinnie tends to overreact when we lose and sometimes doesnt log on for longish periods, thats why IMO he wouldnt be really suitable. Denco also isnt around often

IMO:

You
Jeeks
Stuart
Greg
Dominc
Desmond
Myself (for the matches I'm able to watch - perhaps half of the matches played)

Etc.

Yeah that looks like a good list to me. Vinni does tend to become a bit drastic when things go wrong, however on player ratings I personally believe he's objective. And of course we would have to make sure denco shows up most of the time.

I have a general idea of how the page would look, but I'm not sure how Keith would do it...it also would not make sense to have threads on the page, obviously.
