I don't think we should cell Gerrard. Sure, we could get loads of money, but he is our nucleus, and Benitez is already starting to build around him. As Nicole said, we need to get rid of the deadweight, of which we have a lot. Pellegrino seems like a bloody waste of cash to me, and Kewell needs to get his act together or piss off. we have to many second class players-ok for a team like Everton or something, but not for a team with our history. Pongolle and Mellor are also nice to have-young and tallented

Carragher, Riise, Alonso, Gerrard, Garcia, Baros and Morientes are all very good players, Liverpool just need to spend wisely in the right positions. Upgrades for Josemi and Traore are needed for sure.

Hi, I'm a Liverpool fan whose just registered and now posted so no lurking here!

Anyway, the point of registering was to offer a hand a friendship to all Juve fans. I'm not sure if there are Italians on here or if this is just mainly an English following, but I still wanted to make a gesture of sympathy for the Heysel loss. Most of my friends and other Liverpool fans I know were too young to really remember what happened on that awful night but I think it's important that we try and represent our club in the best possible way by acknowledging the wrong doings of the past.

Nothing will ever repair the damage caused that night or the pain felt by the families for their loss, but on behalf of the club I support I wanted to offer my support and apology, and hope that we can show you a truly great night on Tuesday. I look forward to welcoming you all at Anfield.
