I think its amazing how everyone criticises Montero after EVERY game, whereas they are willing to accept Ferrara's mediocre performances, eg. Man United and the Milan game on saturday!

can we have just a little consistency please, instead of being so sentimental? I can accept Montero playing like crap but there seems an unfair bias towards ferrara
what bias?

Montero is crap
Ferrara is ok.

BTW, Ferrara is years older than montero!!
Ferrara's form has never dipped like montero's has in the past couple of seasons.

Also, i dont really accpet ferrara's performance much either. (check out all the transfer threads and see how many people want new defenders). maybe we dont talk about Ferrara as much because, next to montero, Ferrara seems like Baresi!!

Montero is crap
now thats just ridiculous! he's been playing poorly but calling him crap is just a little severe don't you think? He was a quality player as soon ago as last year and now he is crap..right..

Maybe, or maybe you and I carry some bias towards Montero, maybe...;)

No, not last year. He was good the year before that. Ferrara's lack of agility and pace did show in the Man Utd game, but like Majed said next to Montero he seemed like Franco Baresi (perhaps too harsh of an exaggeration:D).

I think Ferrara played well against the ManU games. Though the result doesn't reflect the right result we deserved, Ferrara did a pretty good job containing VN. He won the balls in the air, tackled ahead of the player, and didn't give careless passes. I like how he plays at the moment. How old is he exactly?

what do u mean well?!!
he was very shaky, his movement was slow and he did not control the rest of the defense.
half of the things you mentioned are things that defenders SHOULD and are expected to do anyway.

juve as a team sucks, and he was included in that.

in Giggs's first goal, Ferrara was all alone, he wasn't marking anyone.

Where are you getting this analysis from as I could have sworn you saying you did not see the game, yet you can tell Ferrara played well and we did not get the right result when you probably have no idea how the game went
