as nearly half of the season been played, i think juve need a bit of strenghtening. Im thinking about quality backup players. some of our key players seems a bit exhousted, like Zambotta.

so we need a sideback (or wingback) capeable to play on the left

may need a centerback, cause i found none of our current cb's on the bench too reliable.

and for christmas i'd like to ask for Guti

Isn't Joaquin a right winger?
Yes, I think he is. After closer consideration. This would be problematic. Is it possibly that camoranesi would play on the left side? I know he's "better foot" is right one.

Joaquin's arrival wouldn't see Nedved move to the centre.

before discussing transfers we must know for sure what is capello desires with juve he must choose between 2 options :

1- play with the best formation available with the current squad or whatever moggi brings for him .

2- or buy new players ( capello's selection) to develop new strategy and tactics or even new style of play .

option 1 would be cheaper and easier for the management plus we have good roaster ( good not brilliant)

option 2 needs time and will give capello his chance of playing his own style with the players that he chosed

Option 2 is for the next season

How do you guys rate Juan Roman Riquelme and do you think he would fit into our line-up? I've been following him closely this season at Villareal and he is La Liga's leader in assists with 11. He was extremely impressive against Barcelona last night and I think we should try to snatch him up if Barca decide that he's surplus to requirements seeing as they already have Deco and Ronaldinho in his position.

the eternal question of riquelme.

from what a i gather, physically riquelme is lacking, not in terms of stature, but more of movement, stamina and strength. Our current style of play will require a "physical" Am, or at least one that very active and mobile.

Same here. He's creative, comfortable on the ball, a good passer with good technical ability, and a good set-piece taker as well. If we can't get Rosicky because of financial reasons or whatever may be the case, Riquelme would be a fine addition to the squad and an excellent alternative to your Aimars and company. We could use Tacchinardi to tempt Barca, but if not Riquelme then bring back Maresca or go for someone like Mourad Meghni or Riccardo Montolivo.

He'd be great there. Up to now I don't understand why we didn't show more faith in him. The talent and ability is certainly there and he has confessed to wanting nothing more than to play for Juve.
