If we want to be a great team again, we must sign 2 sweepers, one left winger, and one good striker.
We must sign sweepers fast, beacuse I don't trust Legro (every game he makes a crucial mistake), Iuliano, Montero (who is very far away from his peak. he gets too many red cards and cause too many penatlies and always get us in to trouble), Tudor (clumsy as hell) and Ferrara (he is too old to play in big games). Thuram is good but he is not as good as he used to be.

I also think we need a left winger like Jankulovski

Gilardino in Risk

Following Emerson's transfer to Juve for around 14 million Euros, Roma feel more confident of landing Alberto Gilardino now that the money is available.
Franco Baldini, the giallorossi's Sports Director, expressed his optimism when today he stated: "Now there are more possibilities of landing Gilardino, even though the situation is still complex. Up till now Parma have not given instructions to sell the player. In any case we have received from Parma a sort of first option by word of mouth and we also have the desire of the player to come and play in Rome."

Gilardino is also followed by Juventus who however might be put off by the transfer tag attached to the Parma striker, especially after the expensive purchase of Emerson from Roma.

7mil€ + one year loan for Chiellini just for Cesar is too much IMO. we should go for Janko.
Of course...Jank is better,he is younger and better.but it's Udinese who making hard on us,but let's trust Moggi.if not Jank, then Cesar is good enough for me.

yeah..and it seems like lazio have accepted juve offer (7mil€ + one year loan for Chiellini).
I find that very hard to believe, because we spent 6mil € on Cheillini and if you add 7mil€ we give to LAzio it would basically mean that that we would pay 13mil€ to get Cesar, even if we would still own Cheillini, but it just doesn´t sound like Moggis kind of business

there are rumours that zalayeta could go to lazio as part exchange deal for cesar. then we could sign wiltord as 5th striker.

Forget about Cesar, Jankulovski is better and younger.

About the 5th striker situation; I would keep Zalayeta. He gives 100% all the time and isn't a bad goalscorer. He's versatile, physical, and willing to sit on the bench.

well done arif :dontcare: :D

Seriously tho, i can see it happening, and wouldnt be too bother, kapo can be backup also , but if we use benji we may actually have a more accomplished youth player....it sounds like a perfect oportunity to use our youth in he form of benji...

id prefer benji, as he has , statistically the better talent, with bucket loads of youth goals...could be a wonderkid in the waiting....
