Following the analogy, we dont need central defenders either

Iuliano
Ferrara
Tudor
Leg
Montero
Thuram

6 players for 2 place

furthermore we dont need attackers

Miccoli
DP
Trez
DYO
Zalayeta(loan)

and so on...

The solution to your problem is simple: SALE
I dont think that is the solution, it is important to have a wide squad. Look at Real Madrids small squad, no wonder why they get tired. With all those players listed here we can rotate, and replace when injuries occures.
Montero, Iuliano, Ferrara is probably not going to get much playtime anymore they slowly fades away. So there is not too many players at all.

But our reserve is much better than real'sf
the under-21 team and the rest of the young guys
so 4 CB are enough for us if they were good and YOUNG

damn, some of you are REALLY living in some sort of fantasy world.

tachinardi and appiah both to be sold? thats impossible, even one being sold is out of the question.

and its simple, i cannot believe theres disagreement: defenders first, midfielders second.

I have a gut feeling that Tach will stay but if that is the case then I reckon it will be more to lack of suitors than him being indispensible in the team.
Nonetheless, there is no way Juve is going to have 4 mediocre defensive midfielders (as it is) in the team because 1) we dont need them all 2) they are mediocre.

I think Appiah seems to be most enticing of the three prospects as he offers some raw atheletic ability but there is no need keep all three of them together next year. Rational act being include them in some sort of money & player trade in which we can get seasoned Serie A player a la Pizarro, or Jankulovsky or Jorgensen (terrific winger IMO) so that we can we can address some of our weakenesses in the team (Lack of width, creativity, passing).

As for Camoranesi, he is not a starter material IMO. I never seen a starter as bad as him ever since Lippi took over with probably exception to Zoran Mirkovic/Birindelli tandem in 98-99.

I didnt mean selling the whole squad, but having a lot of useless players cannot be the reason not to buy a good mid, or cd. We can sell the players we dont need, Its that simple.

If we can get the mids we loaned out back, we will have enough midfielders! But still lacking creativity, If u ask me

owning blasi is pointless when we have tac and no wide men.
Brighi has jus been a disappointment, maybe we bring him back an inject some life into him.

    Camo either good or bad.

Yeah, defenders first... I think that we will get these:
Mexes, Ferrari, Cavenaghi (or Zlatan or Gilardino), Gasbarroni... And Kapo is coming anyway...

    These will leave:
    Montero, Iuliano, Conte and Trez

Sorry about Trez though, but we need the money, and if we don't sell him now, we'll lost him for free a year after...
