An attention seeking girl in Singapore that acts beautiful, when actually she isn't. And she is so *****y that some of the ppl in here cannot stand her.

The colour scheme in her blog's awful. My eyes hurt!
Who would have thought that she, a top-scorer in primary school (she said that) chose a background colour that will create problems for ppl eyesight, especially in the night?

Black or dark blue is the ideal colour IMO.

Negative. Dark backgrounds need light text to provide sufficient contrast and light on dark is tiresome to the eyes. Try reading a long text in light on dark and you'll see for yourself. Light background with dark text is the optimal choice, which is why just about every major website uses it, it's not because they're all conservative.

Negative, Martin. Light background, eg. white - is like simulating a sheet of paper or something..an illuminated one. Try looking at a blank document in Word one time with the lights off and you might change your mind!

..has the right idea.

(By the way Wendy Cheng is fine, ZhiXin.)

First of all, you shouldn't sit in front of a monitor or a tv in a dark room to begin with. What you do is strain your eyes because the contrast between the screen and the rest of the room is so high and gradually your vision is impaired. It's called lighting comfort and it's not something I came up with, it's based on scientific research. People sometimes tell me they like watching tv in a dark room because it feels more like a cinema. That is quite misguided, seeing as in a movie theatre you have a whole wall illuminating while at home you have a dark room with just a small rectangle.

Having said that, if you do make a dark page with light text, the bigger the font is, the easier it is to read so maddox isn't the worst. Contrast the large text with the small copyright notice at the bottom.

Never said I practised it, Martin..but I do like dark backgrounds, entirely down to preference.

Love this one: http://maddox.xmission.com/beat.html
thats the shit

Anyone who has an emotional bond with McDonald's, or anyone who can relate anything they love about life to a company that sells deep fried processed chicken meat should be stabbed in the face. The only bond this campaign is rekindling is that of my ass to the toilet. I'd rather have my skin sand blasted off than eat another pig rectum sandwich from McDonald's.
