he also carried them to the final, and if it wasnt for that red card, and Domenech taking Henry out just before the penalties, who knows what might have happened... for the bolded part, ofcourse it wasnt like this. but they all had a leader on the field, a player who would lead the others when things dont go as planed. Iniesta isnt such, he is in that list just because Spain won the WC and a spanish paper made that team. both Robben and Sneijder had better WCs 2010 than him, Pirlo 2006 was also much better, not to mention the earlier WCs with Baggio 1994 etc. Iniesta played one solid WC so far in his career, scored a goal in the final and suddenly some people put him in the same team with those greats.

Klose is there mainly because he scored 14 WC goals and may become the all time leader this summer (Ronaldo has 15). he is also the only one who had 3 great WCs in a row (2002-5 goals, 2006-5 goals, 2010-4goals) but youre right, this isnt enough to be in this team. Baggio is definetly ahead.
and there shoudl be more DMs/CMs in such teams. its not like only atacking players play football...
