Arsenal's Emmanuel Adebayor has lifted the lid on his club's real 'funnyman', his namesake Emmanuel Eboue. He told FourFourTwo magazine: "People who know me would say I'm a cool guy, always laughing and joking. But Emmanuel Eboue he's funnier than the funniest comedians on TV. Sometimes when he eats he puts food up his nose and when he met the Queen at Buckingham Palace he was on the floor playing with her corgis."
Now, to any normal person, such activity would have us wondering about the sanity of the individual concerned as well as worrying about how close to the death penalty Eboue came on his trip to meet the Queen. But footballers are a different breed and Arsenal's players aren't even slightly concerned about him, even after another incident at their Christmas party, where Eboue's famous dance with team mate Thierry Henry was conceived.
Adebayor explains: "It was at Gilberto's house. It wasn't even a fancy dress party, but there was Eboue, dressed as a tiger with a tail and everything waiting for me behind the door. When I arrived, he made a big noise like a tiger roaring. For a moment I was in a big panic but then I saw him and I thought, 'Oh it's only Eboue...
