The national teams are better overall, even if the players aren't. I don't know about the clubs sides from either continent.

No they're not, they just had a better tournament.

You don't think Japan are consistently this good, do you? Did you see them in the last Asian Cup? The Saudi team everybody laughs at, beat them so resoundingly. It will be interesting to see if they can keep this up in the next Asian Cup.

Also, do you know that Japan and S.Korea both recorded their first wins away from home in a WC.?

I've heard his sexual exploits are quite legendary.
Indeed.
The Arsenal legend, who walked out of the 2006 World Cup after tabloids exposed him as a “Love Rat” for getting a girlfriend pregnant while being engaged to another woman, had affairs with a retired porn actress and a 17-year-old “model”. In 1997 he bedded Louise Montgomery, dubbed Olga Orbs for her 38D figure.

About Germany: They were really good for a couple of games, but I think some people didn't realise that big name teams like Argentina were just really not that good, or shit, rather. Allowing a Germany side that has played like they have so much space all over the pitch was suicide.

I didn't expect Spain to play better than they have so far, but I figured that if they would 'show up' Germany wouldn't have much say in the matter.

Arsenal's Emmanuel Adebayor has lifted the lid on his club's real 'funnyman', his namesake Emmanuel Eboue. He told FourFourTwo magazine: "People who know me would say I'm a cool guy, always laughing and joking. But Emmanuel Eboue he's funnier than the funniest comedians on TV. Sometimes when he eats he puts food up his nose and when he met the Queen at Buckingham Palace he was on the floor playing with her corgis."

Now, to any normal person, such activity would have us wondering about the sanity of the individual concerned as well as worrying about how close to the death penalty Eboue came on his trip to meet the Queen. But footballers are a different breed and Arsenal's players aren't even slightly concerned about him, even after another incident at their Christmas party, where Eboue's famous dance with team mate Thierry Henry was conceived.

Adebayor explains: "It was at Gilberto's house. It wasn't even a fancy dress party, but there was Eboue, dressed as a tiger with a tail and everything waiting for me behind the door. When I arrived, he made a big noise like a tiger roaring. For a moment I was in a big panic but then I saw him and I thought, 'Oh it's only Eboue...

Eboue :touched: he's a legend.
