Klose for Bayern is a fucking joke. Ronaldo for Madrid,Inter and Barcelona was absolute quality. Klose does it in the World Cup thats it. Ronaldo did it at club level also.

That fat Ronaldo even scored more goals than Klose this season back in Brazil.
Realities of football. WC is the biggest stage. However that said regardless of whether Klose beats that record or not I think one would be dyslexic in proving Kloses brilliance over Ronaldo just by this acclaim. The worlds best players should be judged at both club and country level simple. Lets leave the comparisons alone and give the guy a credit who has shone at international level (all be it thanks to saudi :D).

loooooool that is exactly what I said to my friends (Brazil + Argentina fanboys) who were mocking me about Italy!
You know, when Italy don't want to win it, they easily go out from the group stage instead of wasting time of us, their fans :touched:

So what? Its not like Ronaldo (a player who undoubtedly receives far better service from the team behind him) never played against easy teams.

I want to see Klose top the goalscoring charts. It will please me.
Why is he not good enough? What should he do to be good enough? Maybe a couple of step-overs and feints before scoring a goal? Maybe he should become a Brazilian to be that good enough?

You're point is invalid!
I know. If he is the best goal-scorer, he is the best goal-scorer then but I'd rather Ronaldo staying the best of all time and I think it'd be better for football reputation :D

To say that would be a bad day for football is silly. If anything it's a good thing because it shows consistency and longevity have a place in the game as much as flash and excess do.
Silly or not, I don't care. These records should be held by true legends. Klose isn't one of them. He sucks monkey balls compared to the likes of Muller and Ronaldo.

Oh, and yes, it would be a bad day for football.

NONSENSE!

I left out the overrated bit on purpose because he probably is but this "sad day for football" stuff is complete crap.

If Klose scores more than Ronaldo then he deserves it.
Maybe he doesn't. Maybe he will score two offside goals against Uruguay. If so, then it would not be a bad day for football, but rather a disastrous one.

The time would just fly by.

I could speak for at least six hours just going on about why Christian Poulsen is great.
Tell you what, we need entertainment. You can record your lecture about the greatness of Christian Poulsen, send it over to me and I'll play it in the car while driving.

You and Nick are getting confused with 'Best goalscorer' and 'top goalscorer'. A top goalscorer is one who just scores the highest amount of goals in a particular tournament in consideration. The 'Best goalscorer' is what you guys think of Ronaldo. I don't deny that Ronaldo's better than Klose. But if Ronaldo's too much of a fat-ass to be good enough to score in the WC again and increase his tally, then what's wrong with Klose scoring more than him? Why blame Klose for doing his job?
