Ozil looked dead today. Khedira was a joke as were a few others, I personally feel sorry for schweinsteiger and lahm both players well/decent enough to be on the winning side and at the end anyway it proved too much for this young team.
The germans were given warning about what would happen if they conceded an early goal and well they should have prepared rather they prepared for not conceding instead.
The only credit I would give spain would have to be to del bosque he tactically played it well, maybe he could have thrown in fabregas but overall he outwitted lowe. Spain wernt great and a header made the difference. It leaves a foul taste in my mouth as I decide which team has been playing the better football between the dutch and spanish. They both have been effective and sadly thats what its all about.

Eh, I can't say that Spain deserved to win, nor can I say that Germany played well. It was Germany's failure more than Spain's success really. Germany lost the game by not fighting hard enough at the midfield. But Spain was still having a hard time producing anything decisive upfront. Surely that Spain had the better performers, especially compared to the German team. Just look at their lineup, it oozes of quality, including the bench. But I expected more from this Spanish team, much more.
I'm hoping for a much better team at the final. Still I'm not convinced that this Spain is such. Just look at the cockup Pedro did just before he got subbed. Quite the opposite of what Germany were doing in earlier games that were giving them good results.
