I knew you were coming back at me with this :D, but Egypt is a team that excel in tournaments more than qualifiers were players meets for a short time, and there are plenty of time between each game. This WC qualifiers they came against Algeria which is a great rivalry in North Africa and there was too much violance around the games, in 2006 they had Ivory Coast and Cameroon in their group, in 2002 they had Morocco (Big rivalry) and Sengal which had an amazing 2-3 years during that time. I think Egypt would have a problem agianst the likes of Sweden, Scotland, Turkey, and etc. They are way better. The reason they didn't qualify not because they weren't good enough, but because there was plenty of crazy stuff going on in these games off the pitch, and both governments of Egypt and Algeria had to interrupt.

I think circumstances still dont warrant the spot but we can agree to disagree :pint:

also i know egypt is a good team, i am confident they will make the next WC at the expense of an inferior team who dont deserve to be there

Hopefully they make it next WC, eventhough I am not Egyptian. I just enjoy watching them

Sweden, Russia, Croatia can easily outplay Egypt.

African teams showed Cote devoir is not a good team even though they have good players.

Uruguay vs Ghana was one of the most exciting games so far IMO. Maybe it's because I saw it with some of my friends from school, but it was still great! How Ghana were denied a goal by Suarez and gifted a penalty right at the dead, but penalty-boy Gyan totally missed it! It was amazing! Not to mention, 2 great goals!

Hard luck for Ghana, but they only have Gyan to blame. He could've avoided it all and won it!

I think there should be no one to blame. This is football at it's best. Drama, heartache, joy, goals & misses. Am proud of Ghana & I think they played great.
