A lot (Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile I think) of the SA teams' coaches have been saying the qualifications are really hard in SA because most of the teams are really good. It's tough to qualify here (Argentina finished 4th !) and Blatter wants to take one spot away from CONMEBOL because he thinks they have too many. He's a moron.

Suarez did what he had to do! He got punished for it and Ghana should have no reason to complain. They lost the match, but they should hold their heads high since they did themselves and all of Africa proud. A great team to watch, very young and we will hear about them alot in the near future. The Holland-Brazil ref was terrible though.

They should atleast take two seats from UEFA. 14 is just too much. Give one to Asia, and another to Africa. Take another seat from Central/North America and give it to South America

I'd have to agree, especially since the second half against Brazil was against 10 for the majority of it. Still, do you reckon Uruguay, without Suarez and possibly their captain ( for some reason can't think of his name ), will beat us?

I don't mean to underestimate anyone, but we stand a good chance to advance.

Dude what should the ref have done? Awarded a goal and let Ghana win? Suarez was not disgusting at all.. it was smart if anything. You are on the line trying to block a goal which will knock ur country out of the world cup... u block with ur legs then it comes again .. u have to stop it or you are out. If you use ur hands u can stop it, so you do and hope for the best that the ref wont see or that the goalie saves the pen. But he thought quick and did what every professional soccer player would. Dont tell me the ghana players would not have attempted to block it. It is not like he cheated he used his hand to stop a goal and was shown a straight red as he should have been. That was as far as it went for him and then he got lucky that the pen did not go in, if it did it would not have mattered.

I dont think you can take seats from Europe or South america cuz they are the ones who actually win the world cups. How can you justfy giving a world cup spot to Oceania .. and despite Ghana's great performance an african team has never made the semi's so u have to reward success. Like the world cup would suck alot more if 2 great teams from europe did not qualify.

you do but uruguay is really hard to break down, and you re vulnerable on the break, but i really liked how your boys reacted well in the second half of this game. At this point if a european team had to win this WC i d much prefer it to be the oranje

Uruguay will have it tough without Fucile and Suarez and also Their captain might not be fit it seems cuz he had to come off with the knee injury and was limping heavily after the game.

Like I said, the World cup should be consisted of European and SA teams. The rest are no good anyway. South Korea's semifinal was a fluke. They played one good match against the Azzurri and cheated their way to the semis against Spain. The rest can't even make the semis while random European teams like Bulgaria, Sweden, Croatia, Turkey or SA teams like Uruguay are doing it.

Make a World Cup for the SA and European teams and a serie B world cup for the others. That way they will at least make the semis in a world cup

P.S: And the winner of the serie B world cup can play a qualification match to make it to the real World Cup.
