I need spain to get knocked out since have of the guys/girls have Spain in the top 3 in our world cup pool :D
So do I! 80% of the people here put Spain as champions in their pools
Spain might keep possesion and pass it around like a weed joint on the weekend, but they lack the end product and being lethal in this tournament which is strange because they do have world clas players upfront.

It's because IMO they lack chemistry

Are they friendly people?

I have a feeling it would take like 18 seconds before they jump on me for some fight. Dunno, they seem weird to me, like they are all nervous nation. I guess I'm crazy :D
Well...they weren't rude :p Everyone was glued the tv so I can't rate their friendliness. They laughed at Dunga every time he came on the screen :D

Top 3 get pail all more than 300$ in out pool. If I get Germany going to the F then I am winning it, since Germany was only picked by me and another guy to win it all

I don't think so, almost half of the starting 11 play for Barca and the same group of players have been playing together for a long period of time. I think they lack aggressiveness. They need to be more right in their opponents faces and less fancy stuff.

My brother says the exact same thing. However IMO they lack collectivity (is that even a word?) and from what I've seen mostly everyone wants an individual great play

but what is the idea of keep passing it around again and again and again specially if those passes are to the side or just alittle bit forward. They need to start send those passed deep, and go/run at defenders, close spaces, press, and show some emotion and some type of agressive attitude, this passive attitude won't get them far in this WC

first of all i want to tell you all that i am disgusted by the game.. i never thought brazil can be like that.. to protect a 0-0, a draw, a non-football? geez... Secondly brazil is the worst team at corners..i can't believe dani alves after 5 tries couldn't send the ball at the long post or even in the box...and guess what, juan is taking the last corner in the same manner... Third, i hope portugal will play with spain and spain will kick them out. Kaka was missed so bad, baptista should quit football and i hope he won't start again in this wc. Lol at tiago and melo..
Brazil was a real disappointment for the Brazilian fans, IMO. It was the kind of match that makes Dunga the Brazilian Capello in their eyes.

As for Alves, I still don't get why Barca unloaded so much cash on him...

i hate his face..
Hey -- he gives hope for all of us who are follicly changed: that there are worse things than going bald. :p

Maradona's suit looks like it's xxsmall size, and yet again it's too large for him.
:lol2:

Just watched the game at a Portuguese bar, good atmosphere which made up for the moments of boring football. I thought Portugal did well to contain the Brazilians and overall looked a tad better.

Viva Portugal !
While their lack of attack is not encouraging and a common problematic theme in any big cup, it's good to see the solidity of their defense: when it is working, you always have a chance to win. And the coordination among the players has been generally strong. Three clean sheets isn't easy in a Group of Death, even if you play behind the ball heavily in two matches.

The bummer is that by qualifying second, their route through the Cup doesn't take them through Cape Town. :( But Brazil's is at least...
