thats a little harsh, yes the average american would know less about the game but theres a lot of people who live and breathe football

It's harsh, but there are some things you will never understand unless you're born into a culture that absolutely loves the sport.

I love watching American Football for example, but there are details I will never understand, just because I rarely talk about it and because people over here just don't care.

For me to not know anything about soccer, like Andy claims, is simply impossible. It would be impossible if I wanted to.

As 7 year-olds we could have had heated discussions on the Theory of Relativity or complex cardiovascular problems or the workings of a Diesel engine, didn't mean we knew what the fuck we were talking about.

I've known a few Mexicans who were good at playing the game, but man, they were pretty loco. One thought Manchester United had 17 Champions Leagues and that Uruguay never won the World Cup.

These guys were decent players, but all they knew how to do was dribble. Very poor team players that ended up being a detriment to our side. Either that, or else they hated playing with Gringos.
