Oh, these things come out. Someone will prove it at some point. It is necessary to improve the game too. It's why instant replay is not allowed.
See that last point I totally agree with. The reason "the powers that be" don't want replays might well be that they would no longer have the possibility of maipulating games.
Instant replay will kill the game.

Hey if you love him as a player/coach that's fine with me, but I can't get over the fact that he's a complete douchebag as a person.

A couple of weeks before the WC when he drove to the training ground, he drove over the foot of a reporter. True to character, he leaned out and shouted "Watch where you put your foot you asshole" I mean that just says it all.

When the World Cup becomes guilty of match fixing then I will be against it. And if it's been fixed, if the outcome is already decided, then why do you watch Kyle? You of all people.

I think the World Cup has some bad practices when selecting referees.

Look at the guy from the US - Slovenia match. He was horrible in the African Cup, so why is he in the World Cup?
Where are you getting this from? I said Moreno had an agenda in that one game I never said anything about any other matches or the rest of the world cup being fixed in anyway or even that FIFA was involved with Moreno's lunacy so don't put words in my mouth.

What is the bolded part supposed to mean?

And yes I agree that FIFA is very poor with selecting referees and this is the main cause of poor decisions in WC games. I don't think there are big FIFA conspiracies and I don't think that the US game was fixed. The ref was just an amateur.

Because we'd actually play by the rules?
Think about it. I'm not speaking figuratively in some holier than thou sensing search for justice in sport. I'm speaking quite literally.

The start-stop will kill the game. One of the wonderful things about football is it's flow. And even if you decide to add instant replay time on at the end, we could be talking about 30 plus minutes.

Though I think the introduction of the behind-the-goal officials is a good idea.

The only way instant replay works is if it's only done on goals and the game continues while the 4th official makes the call. I don't think teams will be up for that.

This is the first World Cup that isn't hosted by Asia where Asian teams do better than African teams. But even ignoring that fact, i still stand by my previous opinion, S.Korea and Japan are doing well, but look at the fourth Asian team, N.Korea losing 7-0. Like Saudi Arabia losing 8-0 in 2002. Its no coincidence that the biggest results were inflicted on Asian teams
With the exception of Ghana, no African team has a realistic chance of reaching the 2nd round. Both SA and Nigeria are already knocked out while Algeria, Cameroon and even the once considered the best African team before the wc kicked off, Ivory coast will need respective miracles to advance while S.Korea already did it and Japan has a good shot and I believe they'll in fact finish it.

The first wc with 6 African teams failed miserably for them IMO while Asia should even get at least another half a seat to make their share 5 full seats in the next wc instead of 4.5. We deserve it.

Ah, but here's the catch: for the offside rule to be perfectly appplied you don't even need a start stop system. You could do it in a whole number of ways. There's a system developed in Italy that gets it right instantly. Without replays, without stopping the game. Instantly.

As for the other rules: I think each time should be allowed three replays.
