Italy isn't. Hell, Belgium were screwed over too. But Italy had it pretty bad. The game was purchased in some way. You have to ask: cui bono? And you can still see how reaching the semifinals opened up an entire market for FIFA.

So you're ok with blatant match fixing in the world cup? It doesn't matter how many world cups the victim has won its wrong and for the integrity of the sport it should disgust all football fans no matter where their allegiances lie. And I'm not just complaining about Italy getting knocked out, the Spain match pissed me off just as much.

An incident like the Italy - Korea match has no place in any World cup tournament no matter what teams it involves.

This is the reason that 2002 still pisses me off. But a lot of people seem perfectly okay with this and will call you a conspiracy theorist even though that, purely statistically even, 2002 was not normal.
