Andries, I am not sure if it was arrogance, otherwise they could have passed the ball back and forth. It was just this final touch that they were missing and their top strikers just executed it in the stupidest possible way.

that era did i agree but this team does'nt have it to go on and win and honestly i dont see why every one has them as main contenders for the trophy ( note: you do realize i cant be objective about them i dislike them a lot)

They played with one man down for 60 minutes of the game so it's really hard to judge them. Their goalkeeper had a good game and they were lucky not to concede more than one goal.

They had some great football at the Euros thats why. But this team although with the same players just lack it.

Its the world cup, you want to celebrate it by the best football possible. We are 30 games now and I barely recall a great game!

alrighty! there goalie was epic in spains game. i was very impressed with him. i think hondorus will not stand a chance against them hopefully so i see the swiss advance. as for chile i think they r going to be a tough opponent for spain and they stand a chance if they play properly. this group is getting better and better. its also partly to teams trying to avoid brazil in the knock out round

i feel its going to get better and better yamen. the first round was horrible but this round is a massive massive improvement. so hopefully we get some explosive fixtures in the k.o stage.

Oh, i think among the third round matches Germany Vs Ghana will be good. Serbia will win against Aussies IMO and the winner of this match will decide the other team which is going to qualify. Germans have some problems up front and that is gonna make this match more interesting.
