Yes, there is. Up to 1998 most teams would use Select. That ball hasn't changed and almost all teams in the lower leagues still use it. Youth teams generally use it too. Your call for a standardized ball is something that would be very helpful for everyone though. Obviously you can't forbid brands to make a ball, but perhaps you could set the standards so high that you basically get very similar balls.
