Algeria playing well so far, Ziani and Boudebouz having good games on the wings, giving Cole and Johnson a hard time. I like the way they are keeping the ball too, and the Yebda - Lacen partnership seems pretty decent. Bougherra MOM up until now, he is a complete rock at the back.

English pretty poor until now, no imagination, craft or creativity from their midfield. Rooney playing pretty poorly too, he looks lost out there. I think Barry despite being poor with the ball is actually giving their midfield some balance, he is doing rather well defensively, especially in tracking the runs of Hassan Yebda from midfield.

The Algerians need to bring on a striker though, Matmour despite being a good player is not used to playing alone upfront.
