I already have a beer. And I'm going to need many more.

The Slovenians don't deserve any insults. They've played perfectly.
I kind of disagree with you there. There were ten minutes in which they were clearly the lesser side and they could have suffered an equaliser that would have changed the game dramatically.

They're pretty good going forward though. Clinical finish from Ljublijankic too.

I said that would be a very tense game. And it was. You can look it up if you want. It's not because Germany are inherently weaker or anything, but you can tell that Germany is a team that does not like teams such as Serbia.
Tis still an upset, 'shock' was probably not the right word.

Typical USA. Good performances against the traditional big sides and poor against other average sides.

Slovenia is playing great football and it looks like they'll advance. Oh and their celebration dance is amazing. :lol2:

@ juventus1987: bloody condescending, wake up, it's not 1980 anymore

Everyone I spoke to said we'd have no trouble with Slovenia, I insisted that in the right circumstances they can beat us. I hate being right

The US have been very poor.

The way some of the players are strolling around, it looks like they thought they'd already done the hard bit of the group by drawing with England and just took this game for granted.

I'm telling you, they celebrated a 1-1 draw which in the grand scheme of things means nothing.

And they were good in the Confederations Cup too!!!

And USA is better than Bosnia.

Jeez, if Slovenia is giving you an ass whopping, just imagine what Dzeko, Pjanic and Misimovic would do. :lol2:
It's hard to judge by few matches, but it's probably USA's real level, somewhere in the end of TOP15 in Europe, maybe a bit lower.

true, and add that they r playing the game very wrong tonight. there mid field should'nt wander off waaaaay to forward the way the did in the first half.

findley should be subbed in the second half and there midfielder should hold there line instead of wandering forward and leaving spaces behind them.

so typical, we play our hearts out against England, and then don't show up for a must-win match that we're favourites for.

True. They would have a very hard time qualifying in Europe. However, they would perhaps be able to have a better team simply by playing quality sides every once in a while.

we're definitely hurt by playing in CONCAF, where mexico is the only other decent team.
