No, I'm not. Because there are three things you're missing. You're a very onedimensional guy and everything is black and white for you, so I will forgive you for not seeing all the nuances.
1. Culture changes all the time. It's impossible to define what the Italian culture is. It is certain that parts of it can be found outside of Italy too.
2. Culture is something you can acquire very easily. People absorb culture all the time. A year in Italy is more than enough to know what Italian culture is all about (you don't have a clue by the way).
3. You don't have to be part of a certain culture to like it. Liking the culture is already enough to justify your support for a nation.
But these matters are obviously far too complex if you approach them with some fabricated ideas about allegiance to the flag and all that shit.
