I was usually a Brazil supporter (when between BRA and ARG) but I love Maradona so Argentina will be one of my favorite teams on this WC.
Definitely my fav from the big teams.

Banega ahead of cambiasso imo and zanetti well diego chose to go with heinze(XP) instead

Banega was great for Valencia, and was imo second best only to Villa there in terms of performances this season. But Cambiasso is an amazing DM, no way does he not deserve a starting spot at the NT.

I hear Lucho had a great season.

That would have been a nice 4-3-3 with Masch, Cambiasso and Lucho.
Can Lucho play there or behind the strikers suits him more?
He had a poor first few months, then got a long injury but then after that he started playing at his best, and indeed you're right, he had a monster season. Was easily one of the best players in the Ligue. I would actually go as far as saying he was the best in the second half of the season.

Lucho plays better as a central midfielder than behind the strikers imo. Thats the position he plays in for Marseille, as they too deploy a 3 man midfield.

Masch, Cambiasso and Lucho would have been perfect

They will get ripped on the counter.

Although I do like watching Seba play.

That team won't win the World Cup.

ok but maradona showed for the most part that he wants to only play with one DM who cant pass and Masch is his man, so cambiasso wasnt gonna start anyway.
At any rate, i will judge diego's picks with the results he gets.

I think Cambiasso while not being a particularly special passer of the ball, is able to hold his own when it comes to passing. I don't think he's a pure DM at all, despite playing that role for Inter in the past couple of years.
