I still don't understand why Carlos Vela goal is disallowed for offside. In the replay i saw there is one SA defender on the goal line. But the replay keep make the offside line from the keeper who is in front of Vela. Then the commentator keep saying it is a correct decision. Is there any rules when there is a corner the offside line measured from the keeper? I still don't get it, can somebody give me some explanation?

Aljazeera sport channel is being attacked, and they claim they will sue those behind those attacks.
Thats correct Reb. Nilesat management seem to have cut off the signal for some odd reason. It was announced by Al Jazeera sport manager Lakhdar Barrish.

You gotta have two players from the other team to keep you onsight, so normally that's one defender and the goalie, but in this case the striker was in front of the goalie so -> offside

offside is determined by the position of the first player from the defending team in relation to the closest next teammate, regardless of that first player being the GK

Aye, it was good.

I like games when one team wants to play possession football and the other just wants to counter attack.

Do you think it was the pitch or the ball that was behind some of the huge bounces on the long balls?
Difficult one really. As soon as the new Wembley pitch was laid the ball used to bounch quite high at times so I assume it's the pitch. How about yourself, what do you think Red?

I love Arabs...

It was revealed that the reason behind the interruptions of Aljazeera broadcasting for the first match was by the Egyptian government because they bought the rights of these matches and they won't allow Aljazeera to show matches that were already sold for them for free...

Idiots.

A player is in an offside position if:
He is nearer to his opponent's goal line than both the ball and the second last opponent.

How so? There was a man standing on the goal line.
There has to be two men goal side of the attacker.

Because the 'keeper was out, only the man on the line was goal side.

No different from what would be the case if just the 'keeper was on the line and none of defenders were back.
