The elimination is ALL Lippi.

Yes, they really lacked quality, but even with the team he had at his disposal, the team he chose actually, he could have done more regarding motivation. He could have done more regarding tactics, players etc, and use those who actually had a good/great season.

The last 10-15 minutes showed that even with this seriously weak squad, Italy could have easily passed this group. Lippi fucked it up. Badly.

Oh my fucking God, Lippi couldnt have done anything more wrong no matter how much more he tried (and NO I dont mean the squad selection, if he had built a TEAM he would easily won crap teams like NZ and Slovakia even with these average bunch). He was near tears in the sidelines, but despite being my favourite coach since I started watching Footie basically, I have ZERO sympathy with him, but the absolutely reverse. Fucking fuck, what a frigging farce. To actually manage to absolutely taint the last WC totally like this is an epic acheivement...

Easiest group and they still finish last. God help Juventus.

I said the same thing last year during the Confederation Cup, after Italy's poor performances involving Juve's players (mainly the defence). Most were too happy to care about the warning signs for the following season.

What will happen in 2010/11?

You were spot on, brother. But of course, just like always, nobody listened to your claims.

Sorry for the exit, dude.

Quagliarella made me sad in the last.. he did great but i don't know italy would have gone sooner or later no for the quality of the players even that most of them is shit. but the hard workers empire that Lippi always wanted today didn't play just in the last 15 minutes. so i think it's all a bout lippi. anyway this is stupid world cup to sat at least the worst tbh i have seen and maybe they can be good in 2012. with younger players.

Just watching Quagliarella shit all over Slovakia's defence makes me wonder what Cassano, Balotelli, Del Piero, Totti or Miccoli (on one leg) could do.
