 I'm lovin this world cup. First Spain and now France. The French are not gonna pick up anything bigger than a draw against SA.

The Frenchies wanted to go home, looked clueless, passionless and I think they just wanted to play bad so that Domenech's rein comes to an end in the worst possible way...

Watching the replays now... first goal - Onside, Abidal plays Hernandez onside by a couple of cms:)P)
second goal, there was contact, the striker was looking for it, but still a penalty. Right call.

I feel sorry for Lloris. Looks like he's the only one who cares and shows patriotism.
The others, from Gallas and Sagna, to Toulalan and Diaby till Ribery and Anelka, show zero passion. It's almost as if the WC is a distraction for them.
It's not the players. What Domenech has done to demoralise this team is unbelievable. Henry, THIERRY HENRY was on the bench and he puts on Valbuena? No matter how good Valbuena might have played last season, you go with Henry. Class and quality always go over trying really really hard.

Not to mention his selection in the first place. I wonder what Henry was saying to Cissé towards the end by the way. The players will probably choose the team themselves for the last game.

I don't think so. They will both want to avoid Argentina.

Plus, the goal difference favors them both. Uruguay has 3:0 and Mexico has 3:1, while France has 0:2 and S. Africa has 1:4.
Sure, a draw will qualify them both and maybe it won't be worth risking, but in their place I'd take the risk to go for a win and get the 1st place.

In any case, I don't see France winning by 3 and Uruguay losing by 3. It's over.
    Yep. It's over.

Unlike the Italiens, the French will not say that if Uruguay and Mexico share the points it's a Latin American conspiracy.
If it really mattered and they shared the points, it would obviously be suspicious. The fact that people believe in the innocence of teams if they do this sort of thing is something I will never get. That said, like Italy in 2004, France have only themselves to blame.

Bottom line is that Domenech is fucking moron. He never should have been hired or retained.
He's an arrogant moron. You could manipulate a normal moron into doing the right thing, but Domenech is impossible to persuade. If I were a member of the French FA I wouldn't pay out his contract and I'd tell the papers that he didn't do his job properly so he's not entitled to the money.

Best match of the last WC, and the best goal. :agree:

Irish eyes are probably smiling now. :D
I still laugh that the Fédération française de handball is the reigning world champion.

Domenech should have been fired the last WC. Zizou inadvertently saved his job.
