First goal was offside?
Second one was a dive? :lol2:

The defender didn't get the ball. He hit the player.

it was, just barely.

and the second was a dive. Incredibly stupid tackle, but the player started going down before any contact, made sure to drag his legs across abidal. Criminal of someone as experienced as Abidal to make a tackle that dumb though. Again, France can't really complain, every striker in the world would have gone down there

I feel sorry for Lloris. Looks like he's the only one who cares and shows patriotism.
The others, from Gallas and Sagna, to Toulalan and Diaby till Ribery and Anelka, show zero passion. It's almost as if the WC is a distraction for them.

Meh, nothing compares to Suarez last night. We won't see a diving spectacle like that until Ronaldo plays again.

It's not the ball/conditions though, it is just that everyone has forgotten how to shoot.

you think? I thought so before, but no one can shoot at all, and you can see now that the players are reticent to put power behind their shots. And it wouldn't surprise me at all if FIFA/Adidas fucked up the ball, but wouldn't admit it. It plays like it's light, look at how many shots and crosses go flying high, and how high it bounces

In the Greece game though, Greece had like 13 or so shots, and almost all were on target. So i think its till the players get used to the ball

Mexico - Araguay for the draw?
I don't think so. They will both want to avoid Argentina.

Plus, the goal difference favors them both. Uruguay has 3:0 and Mexico has 3:1, while France has 0:2 and S. Africa has 1:4.
Sure, a draw will qualify them both and maybe it won't be worth risking, but in their place I'd take the risk to go for a win and get the 1st place.

In any case, I don't see France winning by 3 and Uruguay losing by 3. It's over.

It seems great for short passing but kills a lot of shots/cross/long passes.
