Meh, they had a million chances to prevent that goal from happening. It was offside (almost impossible to see), but they won't complain about it.

the people i know.... most of them are germans and they love to hate against the azzuri....(but they are talking about big clubs not about lets say korea vs brazil...)
but also the german media but more like typical italy they can only defend...not only for the national team but also for italian clubs

Apart from the words in bold, I strongly disagree with the other characteristics you give of the Italian NT. Italy don't play ugly, they do attack and they had/have some great attackers and also, it's a lunacy to say that they defend all game long.
