Apparently he's going to Liverpool.

A group of journalists overheard Roy Hodgson say "Yes it looks like Wayne's coming", but couldn't get an exclusive as about 5 minutes later it started pissing it down and all had to run inside.
Yeah, he was talking about Wayne Bridge. :D

The fact he is English is neither here nor there.

The fact he is a mink who would probably have huge difficulty in adjusting to living away from the north west of England would be a concern, as that could have an adverse effect on his on field performances.
I actually agree with this.

Statement has just been released by Rooney:

He's not signing a new contract because he is concerned about the ability of the club to win things in the coming years.

Doesn't feel the club's ambition matches his.

Gill, presumably, couldn't make assurances about the levels of spending by the club in the future.

Lovely. And with Rooney leaving, we all know that drastically destroys their chances even further.

But that is a very clownish statement to make. Hopefully team morale and unity will be completely shot after this. And as far as Rooney goes, I'd think twice about wanting such a character on my side. I'd still put in a bid for him, but the fact he's trying to out-do Ibra is not surprising but somewhat worrying.

Chelsea running away with the title looks even more sure now.

Two people got it, sweet.
Three, if we're counting.

Are you up for a Skype challenge? :)
That's hardly fair, Gray. You're not exactly a stereotypical Aussie. I bet you've never even once crushed a beer can on your forehead.

No the Fifa rule is below 28, i misreaded it,

Trezegol17, those sorts of transfers aren't especially cheap, because the player involved usually command a huge signing on fee.
