I leave it on for about 20-30 minutes before kickoff, but it's probably not necessary to leave it on that long; just a precaution on my part ;)

Sorry this question may be very stupid to many, but I have never used streams before.
I have install coolstream. What is the link that I should paste in my windows media player to Juve Vs Parma live?
And does Coolstream uploads? I have a limited upload bandwidth.

By the way my connection is 256.

    Thanks.

ZAF3000, since the match is on "Test Sport", you should double-click on the Test Sport option in Coolstreaming.

You have to wait about a minute, then CS will automatically open your media player and play the video.

If it doesn't automatically load, a notice will popup with a link that you have to paste into media player, but 9/10 times it will work by itself.

I'm not sure if your 256 connection will be fast enough, maybe you should start buffering the match about 30 minutes before kickoff. It's worth a try though ;)

it will, cos it works a bit like bittorrent in that you have to upload to be able to download.

Truth be told though, I don't fancy your chances of being able to stream the match smoothly on a 256kb connection  I'd definitely try anyway though if I were you :)

is there any stream software that does not require an upload?

yes there is, but the speeds won't be as good because you'll be streaming the match independently. The strength of CoolStreaming is that everyone is sharing the stream, so everyone gets all the data they need.
