So Napoli went from Reja, to Mazzarri then rumored for Ranieri...if that doesn't tell you there eye for "talent" for coaches then I don't know what will. 3 shit coaches one after the other...a match made in heaven for Juventus then. :sergio:

What I'm wondering is: Why are we taking FSC's word for everything they say, when they get their information from 'sources' at Italian papers? We usually laugh at Corriere's rumours, for example.

Am I missing something here?
Yes you are. You don't know their record in calling these sort of coaching changes. They always seem to get it right somehow, along with certain transfers.

They don't usually cover RUMORS, mind you.

From DN to Mourinho to Inter, they were the first to report these pieces of news.

What is FSC, Fox Soccer Channel I assume?

Erm yeah, I'm not exactly going to follow their news.
Then you're a fool.

He met with Paratrici today.
And there we have it. FSC is going to be right again.

Mazzarri-Paratrici: there was no meeting.

In these hours had spread the voice of an encounter between Walter Mazzarri, current coach of Naples, and Fabio Paratrici , manager of Juventus. The "location" of this conversation would be a bar in the city of Viareggio, but some had suggested a meeting in Naples. Neither of these two cities, however, was the scene of what probably would have been a face-off between Paratrici and Mazzarri to bring the latter as coach of Juventus. To deny the possibility of contact between the parties, is the fact that the Juventus manager, all morning, remained in Turin. Of course, as is rumored for some time, that does not mean that the coach of Juventus and Napoli have spoken in the past, or even less will do in the future. Mazzarri is clearly the number one alternative to Gigi Delneri, which, however, confirmed yesterday at a press conference that will remain the coach of the Old Lady for next season.

Juve deny Mazzarri contact
Juventus director general Beppe Marotta has rejected claims that they have been in talks with Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri.

The latter may quit the Azzurri at the end of the season and the Old Lady are said to be keen given the uncertain future of Gigi Del Neri.

“I can categorically deny contact in any form with Mazzarri, actually we find these rumours a bit bothersome,” the official said before tonight’s game against Chievo.

“We have an excellent relationship with Napoli chief Aurelio De Laurentiis and we always respect the rules.

“Del Neri? We speak with him on a daily basis,”
added Marotta. “We, as a club, are working for the future and we have clear ideas. At the right time we’ll announce them.

“In these years Inter and Milan have played important roles, while Juve have had to deal with the psychological tsunami of Calciopoli.

“But we are starting to climb the mountain again.”
