So speaking of Canadians and white, meaty goodness, any of you catch the news about the nomination of Alberto Gonzales for Ashcroft's replacement for Attorney General in the U.S.? He goes back a ways with W in Texas and was not confirmed for a prior office due to his previous controvertial statements on civil rights.

I found it funny that one of my Latino friends here in S.F. put it to me this way: "He's what we call in our community light toast." :howler:

    swag the republicans are getting smarter. they want to avoid controversy- this time around they wont appoint someone with a history or direct links with big business or fundamentalist religious organizations.

    gonzales is just a puppet

    and speaking of light toast- Colin Powell's blackness if reviewed, will most certainly be renounced :D
