The difference between the two of us is that I will never kill 30 people. And you want to know why? Because I don't live in America.
So wait a minute, you're agreeing that the only difference between you and a heartless killer is your location?

Thank goodness you don't live here then. We don't need another psychotic, arrogant freak taking innocent lives. Good God, please don't ever come here.

Well, for the sake of the argument, I will indeed agree to that. And to piss you off as well of course. We have psychotic arrogant freaks in Belgium, I have seen them in Italy, I know Dutch and French psychotic freaks and some guys in London didn't look too great either, but they don't go around killing people. Look, I know this must be hard for you, as it would be to a clinically dead guy, so I'm going to write it down in several steps:

    1. People get shot at universities and high schools in America on a regular basis.
    2. People never get shot at universities and high schools in Western Europe.

Now my question is: where exactly did you dumbfucks screw up so badly? Because, all bitching aside, it's pretty clear you fucked up.

If the true intention of this thread was debating gun control, my anger towards the USA would have been considered a good thing.
Where did it ever say that the true intention of the thread is discussing gun control? Why not discussing the mental health of America? Or putting all Asians in concentration camps?

Its just a thread about the whole tragedy, mourning included.

How is it that Vinman's "RIP" is considered valuable and my questions, despite being so dramatically apt, degraded to "ethically unacceptable? Why is mourning just, but asking for preventions, in whatever way I seem fit, horrible? If I want to talk trash about the USA, you by all means should let me, especially now, now it is so obvious they fucked up.

so why dont you offer something constructive? say, for arguments sake, several reasons why you think america is so much worse

Okay, if you're actually doing something (and I'm not talking about donating here), then you might be one of the few that do care. My bad in that case. However, please do realise that 99% of the people don't care. And you know what? They care a hell of a lot less than I do.
If this was an apology, I accept.

But please mind what you say in the future, Seven. Why must you always be so harsh? "The truth shall set you free"-mentality? We can only come close to the certainties of life and I think you're wrong and have been wrong on many occasions on this forum when proclaiming all of them you believe to have figured out. You should respect that there are other opinions and people who are more emotional than you are. If you become less extreme in your views, I for one will like you more.

Because my dear Seven you aren't really asking for prevention. Most of us Gray, Andy, Bes (off the top of my head) asked for gun control, banishment, stricter legislations....etc. But you come off as a trash talker and was waiting for such thing to happen to pounce on the USA.

My view on this is all but extreme and is shared by many people. It's one of the mainstream ideas in fact. Emotion, from where we stand, is pointless. It's a good thing if you're related to someone who witnessed or died during the shooting, but when you are where we are it shouldn't cloud our judgement. Questions need to be answered and people should occupy themselves with getting those questions answered instead of saying "it's all so horrible".

    1. The obvious: gun control
    2. Lack of good health care system
    3. School system which pressures young people

now, tell me, even you must think that if you have said this things in the first place instead of mouthing off everyone (alive or dead) everyone here would have considered you a very mature, intelligent person

now before you tell me that you do not care what andy and such think let me point out something

in you sick little head there, you are enjoying being "the bad guy" being "controvercial" even though you are not because there is obviously a clear line between being controvercial and just plain idiotic

You want to hear it? Fine, I was waiting for it to happen. Because I dislike Americans? Oh dear god, no. There are an awful lot of Americans I do like. No, I was waiting for it to happen, because it was so clearly it would. I, and many people in Europe with me, am growing more frustrated every day nothing is done about things that are so obviously messed up.

But had you been the strong man you BELIEVE you are, you wouldn't pick on the emotional people! You would get your ass off your chair and do something for them! All you do is point your finger at the suprasensuals and laugh at them, telling them: "Ha ha, you're not as rational as I am!" - Go out and make a difference!

If you want to criticize America, you have a right to do so, but my "beef" with you now is over your proclaiming that feeling sorrow and grief is wrong and pointless.

Emotions separate us from the animals, Seven, and instead of bashing it you should praise it!

Yes, you could say that's the reason. If I were you, it would seem logical to me as well. But that's not the true reason I mouthed everyone off. I did so because we all know what caused this incident, yet the USA didn't do anything about it. Is it wrong of me to blast the US for it? I wouldn't say so. These are 32 lives taken by the USA, just as they take lives in Iraq every day, Bes.

Look, I could sit here and tell you my goal in life is to make a difference there. And at this point I believe it is. But until I have actually done something, I'm going to keep quiet about it. Because saying I care, means shit. And saying I want to do something means shit as well.

Feeling sorrow and grief is a good thing for the people who are directly involved. For all others it's pointless.
