Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta will do everything to convince Italy boss Marcello Lippi to take him to the World Cup this summer.
The 30-year-old has missed most of the season with a knee injury but got back on the scoresheet at the weekend in Juve's 3-0 victory over Bari.
Speaking to Sky Italia, Iaquinta said: “It was wonderful to get back to scoring, above all because we needed my goals to win a difficult game.
“I will give everything in the last three games, then it's up to Lippi to decide,” he concluded.
Iaquinta was among Lippi first choices up front until his injury.
The Italian media believes that he is still highly regarded and will be on the plane to South Africa.
