didn't Iaquinta play well in Udinese?
( i'm not a fans of Iaquinta)
I remember there was a season where udinesse depended on him completely for scoring goals . Last season hhe didnt do well and was out with an injury for most of the season . Overall i ever really rated iaquinta highly and for 11 million i think we could have gotten someone better but judging him after just one game also isnt very fair . He'l get his chances and hw will have to better his performances to earn a spot in the team .

I prefer palladino to iaquinta , palla is young , has skill , pace , determination , and always tries his best . Im still convinced iaquinta can help juve when they need to someone to break the offside trap or make big runs down the right or even a big man to score headers .

Personally , i don't think he is juve calibre or ever will be but we'l just have to live with him for the time being and hope for the best .

Palla is gonna be great but as Ranieri said he still need to improve some things, like he is a good dribbler but he dribbles too much when he should make a pass or shoot. If he improve that he is gonna be great.

The guy is giving facts. You don't have to be blind to be considered a fan.
Exactly.

Last season Iaquinta played 30 matches and scored 14 goals. What injury and bad form are you talking about?! Last season only Di Natale was voted better than Iaquinta. Iaquinta was also considered the biggest name in Udinese which resulted in Milan and Liverpool interest. Now, I´m not a fan of Iaquinta but he can be Juventus joker like Inzaghi is for Milan. People here don´t like Inzaghi as well (including me) but do does somebody here even doubt that Inzaghi is not an excellent forward?!

P.S. I think you people are overrating Palladino too much. He is not that good. I would have prefffered Giuseppe Rossi.

overrating palladino ? not at all , i think he has a long way to go but definetely has more promise than iaquinta . Why isnt he good ? he has never dissapointed in serie B and always put up great games for juve . He is obviously one of juve's rising talents . G.rossi is pretty good yes but i think ure discrediting palladino , he has earned a place in juve infront of players like alex and trez , G.rossi was in a team absent in attack , he would start in every game so he has the oppurtunity to impress .

I also believe players that play in small teams always impress more than when they play for big teams for a number of reasons .

14 goals in 30 games for a prime attacker in a team is far from impressive . If thats what u consider good then your standards are pretty low . lots of players that are reated under iaquinta have scored more goals than that .

Palladino is hardly a talent. At the age of 23 he is almost a developed player, his talent will not significantly rise.

About Iaquinta, what are you talking about, man?! Striker´s duty is not only to score goals. For example, Ibrahimovic also scored "only" 14 goals with the same playing time but you surely don´t consider him average? 14 goals is good, especially in Serie A. In a better team, Iaquinta is maybe able to score even more.....

here's where you're wrong . In big teams there is more pressure and competition and consistency is a must . gila in milan for example .
A striker's duty is not to only to score goals ? then what the hell is he supposed to do ? A striker is always rated on his abilities and his ability to score goals , A defender is rated on his abilities and his ability to defend .
Personally , i don't think iaquinta's abilities can be compared to good strikers .

How can you even compare ibra to iaquinta ? does iaquinta have the dribbling skills of ibra much less the striking skills . Ibra has assisted many goals for inter this season and is one of the main reason's behind their success .
Im not saying 14 goals is bad but its definitely not something to be proud of .

Iaquinta is another option for us in attack - a variable on the players we already have at our disposal..

Admittedly Suazo would have been nice as an alternative, but at least Iaquinta is Italian and somehow I think our first choice strikers are still (strangely) the club's all-time scorer and his foreign couterpart so I don't think Ranieri's depending on Iaquinta to score quite all of our goals this year..

I honestly don't think iaquinta is going to spend another season at juve . I really doubted this guy's ability from the start , for 11 million ? we could have done a lot better than him .
