Iaq and Ama don't have the vision, touch or unselfishness to play next to a finisher. Del Piero on the other hand...

That's why DP and Trez were/are gold.

If they can't play next to each other and next to a finisher then let's sip them to the J-league. :p

Amauri can start with one. He can dribble past a player and make space for one. Iaq doesn't have Amauri's dribbling skills and is a working horse.

No skills .. No finishing ..

Just enthusiasm + speed ..

can't even be better than Di Vaio, Miccoli, Kovacevic, Zalayeta ..

as i said before, we can't rely on this striker to win the scudetto or the CL ..

we need striker(S) ..

Dzeko is available ..

Sounds like a plan. :p

I know Ama and Iaq work hard and each have their specific abilities, but surely they're both nowhere as useful next to a proper poacher as a Del Piero- or Cassano-type of player. I know these are two exceptional players, but you know what I mean.

I've never been a fan of Iaquinta, simply because of his touch. He would work hard but mess up that final stage of an attack because of his lack of vision or simply because he can't get a ball to a teammate, skillwise.

Even next to a finisher, Iaq would not be effective enough I'm afraid.

he really needs to learn how to score the easy goals... but he won't he is just to old to learn how to score.
sometimes he really scores out of nothing but than again he misses the really easy opportunities.....
