Where is Tomasson on a loan? And if he is, he will come back, he is still owned by Villareal.
Nihat IS a striker, he can play as an attacking midfielder and a forward. He played always as a forward when he was in Real Sociedad.
Nihat Kahveci (born November 23, 1979 in Istanbul) is a Turkish football player for Spanish side Villarreal CF. He made his debut for the Turkish national team in 2000 against Sweden. Nihat plays predominantly as a forward but can also play as an attacking midfielder.
along with pirlo hes the best passer of the ball out of any player in the world, so bloody lazy he carried the argentina team, hes so bloody lazy that he almost got villarreal to a cl final to even reach the semi was surpass anyones expectations hes so lazy that he is the heart of boca's villarreals, and argentina's midfield

and that statement is based on what? sheer anti riquelme views and i guess gerrard wud be a huge success? or lampard? or ronaldinho? like i said he was the heart of argentina, their downfall was when riqueleme was subbed off against germany, that shows how much of an impact he makes to a team, certainly more so than deco etc... as for deco he is nothing like as good with passing accuracy and vision to riquelme.
Your way of judging players is quite questionable. So far acoording to you Gilberto Silva, Deco, Ribery, Gerrard all suck, but Riquelme owns them all? Yeah right....

I don´t want to waste my time on this, besides it is off-topic. Riquelme is neither a match winner nor a heart and soul of Argentina. He is a player that does well for small clubs like Villareal, for a big club like Juve he would be a major disappointment.
If he is important for Villareal why did they sent him back to Argentina? :faq1:
Couldnt match up to the intensity of Serie A? Have to disagree 100%. THe only thing that would let Gerrard down in serie a is the fact his killer long ball would be pointless as there is no space behind most italian back lines.
Being English may also affect his performances in Italy, obviously......
