google chelsea and van der Vaart.

try Ivanovic and Chelsea also.

Those long lasting rumors never have a good ending for Juve. Whne you really want a player you give the team what they want and you'll get your player.

SECCO!!!

Slightly off topic, but it was funny reading in the Banega thread a couple people not wanting to take chances on South American talents because they supposedly "won't adapt to European football."

What a pile of shit. I guess the dumbass who stated that doesn't even watch football, let alone heard of players such as CAMORANESI and fucking KAKA.

Gotta start taking more chances on talents such as Banega the like. We keep falling behind not looking into South America.

well theres still zapata. :xfinger:
If I was at Milan I'd do everything to sign him and rejuvenate their defense. I see them going after him.

I agree with getting young talents but getting one playing CM is not a priority atm and with a price tag of 20m + it's very risky. We should be sure he's damn good to pay that sum. I would have done it with Pato.

you can prefer vdV over Banega but both play in different positions.

I don't think I have to explain why it could be risky getting young talents form abroad? It the usual stuff...boosted price tag, changing countries, over-hyped...and in Banega's case we already have good young talent there so we don't need to risk and pay 20-25m for that type of player.

I hope he's not another support striker. I heard about Battaglia many years ago and he got lost in Spain. Maybe he left too early...

Here's part of your inane opinion.

you're taking it out of context here. like i said Boca (or any good south-american team) is way better than empoli. what i'm saying is that in south-america they play another kind of football than in europe, the kind of football of here many years ago when it was still a technical sport. Football however has changed and became much more physical in europe. So my point is that these technical geniuses of boca would struggle, indeed, in serie a. The other way around ? doesn't matter as we're talking about south-americans coming to europe and not the other way around.

so i would rather get a talented south-american playing for "frigging relegation candidate and bottom feeding Empoli of Serie A" than one of "Boca, one of the biggiest teams in the history of the sport".
Your foolish opinion is exactly why Milan gets Kaka while we purchase Almiron. You are completely wrong with your assessment as Serie A is filled with technical geniuses who have played in South America. The Bundesliga has about the same "roughness" of Serie A, and that league features all sorts of the "technical geniuses that would indeed struggle.

Your opinion is nonsense and pretty much everybody called you out on it.

wow nice 1 Boca! 26 mil!
Please be specific and say its dollars. People dont realise how weak the dollar currency has become, 26m dollars is 16-17m euros. Suddenly doesnt sound that much, and it was the price he was rumoured to begin with (18m), so nothing changed except the currency.
