Valdano Denies Rift Between Florentino Perez & Raul

Real Madrid director Jorge Valdano rubbished on Wednesday reports hinting there is a problem between Raul and president Florentino Perez. "The atmosphere inside the dressing room is superb", Valdano said. "We have been through a very emotional time here at Real".

Jorge Valdano acknowledged, unlike some of his staff, that there had been some "internal problems" after the Supercup game in Monaco. "Yet the relationship between the team's captains and Mr Perez remains great", Valdano insisted.

It's well-known that Real aren't united as players as they were in the past, the arrival of Ronaldo caused alot of problems that Perez didn't expect .. These problems will also make it difficult for Ronaldo to adapt and settle in Real.

If they get into a brawl, Perez is not giving up his empire. He'll sacrifice Raul to keep the rest, there will be a large rift among the fans and inside the club since Raul IS Real in a way. And if that happens there's a good chance I would lose interest altogether, Raul leaving is no good. Plus a few others would go with him no doubt.
