The first time I had ethiopian food was DC but the best ethiopian food i've ever had was in Seattle

Interesting. Never thought of a sizeable Ethiopian community there. (Which is why the Japanese food is so good in Seattle.)

Not just Adams-Morgan, but around DC there are some really good Ethiopian places.

Normally I'd be amused, but the "What does nothing really taste like?" jokes about Ethiopian food have been beaten to gays-and-cuck level death for me I'm afraid.

I suppose it's kind of like me and my poop jokes, decades after I discovered as a small child that my farts are funny.
