Not to mention that Romney is, if you judge by most European standards, extreme right wing. While that does get you a few supporters in certain corners, it's obviously not going to be the popular opinion.
:agree:

It just puts Amurkan politics into perspective, even Obama is more right wing than most moderately right parties in Europe.
Sure, but still, much easier for most europeans to relate to his policies as opposed to Romney's.

not sure if serious?

Add to that the fact that Obama is one of the most charismatic politicans in history.
I think you nailed it with this sentence :p

There are people not giving two shits about the US politics, but still obsessed with Obama because of his charisma and charm. His PR-team is fucking good.

I've never understood the hype about Obama. I can see why Democrat (Americans) would prefer him to be the President, but people in Europe are crazy about Obama. Why?
We have a president named "Barack Obama", not "Richard Winters III". Any time the US president appears to have a more global awareness -- rather than seeing the rest of the world as the personal toilet of rich, white Americans -- this generally gets people in a positive mood.

It just puts Amurkan politics into perspective, even Obama is more right wing than most moderately right parties in Europe.
Yup.

:p

Can't blame ya I bet even North Korea was covering the election yeesterday.
Kim Jong-un I believe was declared the winner.

Just saw his speech after winning, speech master he is, raised the roof off. Oughta give his writer a raise.
Yeah, but unlike the crowd in Grant Park 4 years ago, this crowd in the McCormack Place looked like staged extras... they waved flags and kind of fake cheered like all of our fake fans during Juve matches. :p
